Springfield-based agency adopts new brand, retains commitment to service and growth.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (December 27, 2011) — As a final phase following its merger three years ago with the Brower Insurance Agency, LLC, Consolidated Insurance of Springfield now operates under the Brower name. The two agencies merged in December 2008 as a way to facilitate new client growth and to enhance the scope, quality, and value of services they delivered to existing clientele.

The name change correlates to a broader branding initiative to refresh the Brower identity and to create awareness in the regional marketplace. Andy Bell, who joined Consolidated in 1971 and is now a Brower principal and member of the executive committee, says that the name change is the last step to power agency growth. "Operating as Brower unifies the Springfield team with our associates at our other locations throughout the state. And, that unified organization can approach the marketplace with clarity, bringing to bear all of our products and services and the talents of our team members. That means even better service, coverages, and rates for our current and future clients."

Although its signage will change, the agency will maintain its Springfield location where it plans to increase the size of its workforce in the coming year to support increased volume of business following the merger. Now principals at Brower, longtime agency owners Andy Bell, Doug Paugh and Hal Goodrich, will continue to work from the North Limestone Street location in Springfield.
